I am a member of an Apostolate of Prayer for Seminarians in Ireland and we arrange for people to adopt a seminarian in prayer every day and to offer one Mass every week for that named seminarian. All seven novices will be adopted in prayer. If they would like to spread the apostolate by suggesting lay people in their area take it up that would be good. We have been praying for 5 Friars in Blackfriars.
The reason I checked the website was to ascertain if Bro James from Ireland was ordained this year. I met him at Youth 2000 Festival in Cistercian Abbey Co Tipperary in 2013 and since then 5 people have been praying for each of the students studying in Blackfriars for the Irish Province.

What a beautiful apostolate! Not all of the friars in the picture will become priests. Some have chosen to remain brothers. I have sent a note to their novice master asking if he knows Bro. James. God bless you all, Anne
Frank, I heard that Brother James will be taking his solemn vows Sept. 8th and will be ordained a deacon soon after that. The Conventual Franciscan friars do study at Black Friars in Oxford. They will be at the Youth 2000 again this year. Maybe you will see them! God bless, Anne
